JAA Class 2

Hi,
I am going to the states in two weeks, to do an intensive PPL course. I have a valid JAA Class 2 Medical issued by the Norwegian CAA (where I lie now), I was wondering, If I am sitting for a UK issued JAR PPL will I need a valid UK Class 2 Medical or will the JAA approved one I have be okay.

Thanks

You'll need an FAA Class 3 medical for training in the US - ie. if you are flying an US aeroplane, you need an US medical.

I'm assuming (I may be wrong) that you will need an UK medical to be issued with a PPL licence from the CAA, but you could get that on your return.
