How much does a echocardiogram cost?

Marsman Why do you need /want an echo?
might not even be the correct test, did your doc refer you for this?
an echo looks at defects in the motion of the heart and associated valves, and some give the 'ejection fraction' the amount of blood ejected from heart/amount not ejected stongly Indicted post-MI with S-T segment changes on EKG
M-mode looks closely at the 'wall of the heart' pericardium, epicardium, myocardium and endocardium
Doppler Studies try to determine venous and arterial blood flow, checks for flow defects. usually indicated if bruits [brooee's, Turbulence heard through the stethoscope] are heard over an artery, or venous blood flow is suspect
Clear Props!!!
