HIV

When obtaining a JAA class 1 medical in the United Kingdom, do you get checked out for HIV, does anyone know?

. . . or more specifically would it show up if your tests if you had HIV, i.e. the blood tests they do?

I don't think so, but if you are worried that you may be HIV positive, I suggest you get it tested!

HIV is a specific blood test - ie doesn't show up unless tested for
