Diabetes?

I am thinking about starting a career in air traffic control, but i dont want to get my hope s up and find out that it is not possible. please could any one let mw know if i can become an air traffic controller with type 1 diabetes?

I can't be that specific, but I'm sure it would be worth a call to the CAA. I'm sure that they'd be interested in your control, your last HbA1c reading, and the frequency of any "hypo's" suffered.

It may, however, be a disqualifying factor. Let us know how you get on.
