Hi all
My medical is on Wednesday and I have a quick question I have been to my local GP for a quick check up and she said I was fine except that I was underweight I am 5”8 and weigh 53Kg (116 Pounds) that gives me a BMI of 17.6 will this make a difference should I be worried
Please any advice would be great

thanks

All this talk of sliding doors and toilets is getting me worried! I've not booked a medical yet, but does anyone know (obviously the guys won't) if there is a sliding door situation in the ladies toilet?!

Master D,

You shouldn't have any need to worry! I am about 5"9/10 and weigh about 50kg and they didn't make an issue of it. As long as you are healthy you will be fine.

good luck!

For some reason, my eyes feel fuzzy today (my left eye really - feels like its not focusing properly, it's really strange) since i've got out of bed, hence the afternoon nap. I'm quite worried actually as it's never happened before. Maybe just too much PC screen and they need a break!!

Quick question - how long is the waiting period between first booking a medical and actually going i.e if I want the medical on the 1st of June how far in advance do I have to book.

Cheers

Two weeks beforehand should be fine. There is usually a longer waiting list for the afternoon appointments, but if you know when you want your appointment you might as well book as soon as possible to have that out of the way.
