manifest strabismus
Does anyone know if a manifest squint (tropia) is acceptable by the JAA. The JAA regulations talk only about Phorias and nothing about a tropia. It only says "No double vision"

Hey There
I have a severe manifest squint but as I DO NOT have double vision I am ok if I wanted a Class 1.
If you were to look at the regulations you would think I would not pass but after the CAA eye doc saw me he said I would be ok to pass.
The only thing is that I'm outside the limits for Class 1 correction lenses (refractive error) prescription so I can only get a Class 2 at this time. Fingers crossed this will change....
Good luck yourself
