Selection/Medical
Just a quick question. Do airlines request a copy of your medical records at any point in the selection process; or is it just a case of presenting a valid Class1 medical certificate? Do they also perform their own medical examination before employing you?
Cheers for any info.
Just noticed the "Virgin Medical" thread so I guess that’s a "Yes". Is that the case with the majority of airlines?

Medical
I believe that BA used to require potential pilots to have a medical, but not anymore, apart from producing your Class I certificate. If you get through selection, they then send you a form to fill in asking medical questions. If you answer anything that needs further investigation I believe they will contact you, otherwise that is it.
I don't know about other airlines but good luck if you are at this stage with an application to any company.
