NPPL medical enquiry
I have the feeling I know the answer to this one but I'm seeking advice anyway. I hold a CAA PPL with a Class 2 medical which has been withdrawn due to an anomaly in my ECG. While this is sorted out I'm dropping back to a Class 1 NPPL (solo or with qualified pilots). My GP has signed the medical form and I've submitted the paperwork to NPLG. Question is can I fly in the period before the NPPL lands on my doorstep? The reason for the query is that the checklist says it can take 6-8 weeks for the issue of the NPPL and I don't want to get out of practice. My thinking is I have a licence (PPL) and a medical (Class 1 car-driver) so I might be able to fly solo.

I'll fly with you if you want! I live in Cheltenham and fly at Gloucestershire airfield lots. Currently hourbuilding before starting my CPL next year some time.
Just give me a shout if you want/need another pilot in the cockpit.
