My eyesight Prescription
I had a computerised eyesight test in order to apply for a foreign driving licence. The readings were as follows:-
Right eye > SPH -0.25 CYL -1.50 Axis 175
Left eye > SPH -0.25 CYL -1.75 Axis 5
Pupil Distance > 61mm
My eyesight hasn't changed for years. I am trying to find the last 'normal' eye test result from my doctor but since I moved house I simply can't find them.
My question is whether the above prescription does make any sense. Can the Astigmatism be more than the refractive error?
Thanks for all your help

Yup it can (as your prescription indicates)
The correction denotes the lens necessary to project the light on the retina.
Astigmatism signifies that the lens is not perfectly round. Best way to visualise this is to imagine that you look at a circle but with astigmatism you will actually see an elipse.
