Regaining Class 1 after Depression

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has had experience with this problem. Long story short, about 2 years ago I encountered some personal problems, did'nt handle them too well got depressed got help and got fixed.

Problem is that when I went to see my GP about it, it took many months before I could see a consulatnt psychiatrist as I was not deemed that serious, in the interim he prescribed various anti depressant medications- they did nt work, but seeing a counsellor did.

After seeing the psychiatrist he told me that he felt more than happy to inform the relevant authorities that I had suffered from 'recurrent brief mild depressive episodes' and he was satisfied that I was fully recovered. Super.

My question is if I do get another class one will there be any reference to the condition I had, such as the one for glasses or will it just go into my case notes and remain between myself and them? And is the fact that I was prescribed medication a problem?

Thanks for the help
