Optician- Eye Examination For FAA
Hi people, I have recently had my results for an eye test, and wonder if anybody could possibly help. I have a "sphere" of 0.00 for right and o.25 for left. I have a "cylinder" of 0 for both and an "Axis" of 0 for both. My distance acuity is 6/5 for both eyes and my Near Acuity is N5 for both eyes. If anybody could possibly help, I would be most grateful,

EF2002,
You pass the JAA standard for Class 1 medical in this regards, no doubt. The FAA standards are like the JAA tho bit more relaxed so I would assume you deffinately pass the FAA test. Your eye sight in both eye is better then 6/6 or 20/20 and you are able to read N5 at near. Your corrections are negligable and so well within limits.
You have nothing to worry about as far as visual acuity and corrections are concerned.
