A good friend of mine has been accepted by NATS for ATC training after passing his entrance tests, medical and security checks. However two months before his course is due to start he has been sent a letter withdrawing his course offer on the grounds he is too tall (he is 6ft 10in).
This is the link to the thread in the ATC issues forum http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthr...5&pagenumber=1
If anyone has any information or advice that would help him challenge this appalling discrimination, please could you post in that thread.
Many thanks

Health & Safety and Disability Access / Discrimination is my field and I am concerned that height has been used as an excuse.
A lot of good points have been covered in the ATC thread and some of these need to be confirmed / addressed.
I'm not making any promises but I'll help with advice wherever I can - however, for personal reasons I would only do this via PMs.
Best Regards,
