Converting CAA Class 3 to JAR Class2

Hi all,
I have an old CAA class 3 medical which was issued in 1996. It was out of date nearly 4 years ago now, but I havent needed to fly under it.

Now that I am going to be flying more, can anyone tell me what I will need for a new medical.

Am I right in thinking its now a JAR Class 2?

Seeing as mine is 4 years out of date effectively, will I need a full medical or just a renewal (Im 25).

Thanks for any advice

Rgds

I am not a CAA AME but suspect that you may need an initial but that for some things (like refractive errors etc) they may well use the renewal standards.

I think you will have to ask your AME when you go, it may well be open for interpretation.
