Eyesight difference ClassI and Class II

Is there much difference between eyesight requirements to pass Class II and Class I medicals???

The initial standards for the class 1 medical are no greater than +3 to -5 dioptres.

The renewal standard is -8 dioptres once you have the medical.

You should check the caa website and look at the medical section.

I seem to be in a different place every time I have a medical. Each time the method, equipment and standards/difficulty are completely different. It's just pot luck.
