Heartbeat and weight

I just weighed myself and i noticed my weight fluctuated with a regular and familiar rhythm. I checked and it turned out I lost two pounds with every heartbeat. On the positive side It immediately came back.

Am I an alien?

Ok, so I know I'm not an alien. I just thought it was interesting that a heartbeat showed up on a scale.

Sorry about that.

I weighed myself and I saw the needle going from...let's call it x pounds to x-2 pounds and back to x again. the rhythm looked familiar so I checked my pulse and it matched the fluctuations indicated on the scale. Seriously.

I just added the alien part for a bit of colour (I normally reside in Jet Blast).

I thought it was an interesting observation. Has anyone else ever seen such a thing?

Does anyone have an explanation?

Do I need to be worried

Nope, right about the alien thing!?

Seriously though, were you standing on the scales when you took your pulse?
