International Medical Insurance

I'm curious to know if airlines provide BUPA type international medical insurance to pilots and their families when stationed overseas? If so can anyone comment on who provides the best cover Vs value for money or best service Vs value for money.

BUPA seem to be by far and away the biggest and have that 'comfort' appeal but I know there are a number of 2nd tier alternative providers who either claim to provide the same level of cover for less $ or provide more cover for the same $.

I don't really want to mess around with my families medical insurance cover but it is a pretty significant outlay each year and if I can save 10 or 15% and get the same benefit then I would.

Appreciate any feedback.
