Yes, I thought it was worthy of putting in under the main "Rumours and News" section but it was deleted from there after 4 replies and a few hours on air.

A bit of light entertainment can't hurt (if the research isn't true?), amoungst all the seriousness and bickering elsewhere on this site

Sorry guys -- it was all a hoax.

Here's a link to the original story AND the declaration that it was a clever hoax. (Although the Associated Press apparently didn't think it was very funny!!)

First clue that it was daft should have been the name of that one doctor: "Dr. Inserta Shafteer." ooooooooooo -- naughty one.
