If one particular tree grows far quicker than the rest, does that imply that the person down below was full of bulls***?

Which is how nature works. Over here they ask for $20,000 instead or your loved one doesn't get buried, and the longer you wait the price goes up.

It means they can no longer keep it up.

Yep, those green funerals sound like a good idea. Will mention it to the wife as I don't like the way she looks at the patio.

Undertakers have been successfully cultivating money trees for years....

That's the route I'm going, just like my parents. A damned sight cheaper than conventional funerals, which leaves more money for the wake I won't be attending.

We have four trees with my parents ashes under them and a fourth with my mother in law ashes under it. They are in our top field with panoramic views of Yorkshire in a quiet spot. They all liked it hear so much it seemed appropriate. You do have to mix the ashes with compost though 🥲
Cheers

Piers breaks wind !.....which, in his case, is the same as his silence .

Modest as always and what better outlet to chose, and interviewer for that matter, than Faux News to remind the public of.......himself.

It wasn't really myself I had in mind here SA....there are, after all, some on here who lament his absence from our screens, others, more pertinently, are devoted Faux News viewers....hence both demographics are now aware of his appearance.... in case they missed it....and can now indulge themselves watching him

At least PM held various Government ministers to account, rather than letting them off the hook, which appears to be the BBC policy.

I asked my sister to scatter my ashes in Thirlmere, as I like to spread myself far and wide, and as it provides the drinking water for Manchester, I thought I'd let them all have a little bit of me, that way they can all raise a glass to my demise.. ;)

Piers Morgan is like that particularly tenacious shit-stain you sometimes find in the toilet, difficult to get rid of and you can't remember how he got there.

P.S. To help one of our earlier readers:

Cancel Culture = I am shocked and stunned to find my actions may have consequences.
Woke = Don't just think you can gob off without me calling you on your inherent bigotry.

PPS. Hokulea is not allowed to go anywhere.

The trouble with the Woke movement is the intentions are mostly altruistic but the world view is very binary, black or white (forgive the pun). Trouble is the world is not like that, itís messy and grey. It always will be! There seems to be far too much shouting and finger pointing and not enough dialogue from the Woke crowd. In my opinion they would do well to focus less on pushing an extreme social justice agenda and more energy confronting the reality and nuances of the world we live in!

Barack Obama has even called it out. Just YouTube it.

As a white person I have never experienced racism and discrimination directed at me but Iím married to someone who has. My wife is mixed race.

Only a fool would deny there are colour problems but are they really as widespread as portrayed by militant groups? I personally don't know of any and neither do my non-white chums (and I live in the Midlands!). Some people relish the the opportunity of filling (perceived) victim slots and their sense of unfairness expands when they get suckered into action groups. Reverse racism and discrimination - I've occasionally had it as a white man in Africa for eight years and had the balls to laugh it off. I had plenty of black mates to offset it. My mixed-race daughter has never had prejudice problems from either colour in Africa or the UK. Probably because she's inherited her stunning looks from me. :)
Racism isn't only colour-related in the UK - just look at Protestant v Catholic strife in politics and sport...

On a multi-national course a few years back including one guy from the Caribbean IIR. Everyone, including him, got on really well and he himself was well ahead of the rest of us - had everything going for him and was consistently top of everything we did. Imagine our surprise when, after a couple of months, several of us Brits were suddenly hauled in on the "race card" - having been accused of something none of us had even thought of, let alone done. Of course, no right of reply entertained and we left with a "This is your first and very last warning!" ringing in our ears. A week later someone else was hauled in in a similar manner. We rapidly realised that, for whatever reason, this guy was suddenly toxic and that the only way to protect ourselves was simply to avoid him. In a couple of weeks he went from being a hugely popular guy to a complete outsider. There were no further "incidents" but the whole sorry tale has stuck with me for decades. To this day, I have yet to see a worse self-inflicted injury. Oh, and the other International students were most apologetic and had no idea either!
