You know she wasn't sitting at the front, right?

She could have easily sat at the back and gotten where she was going, but it was her right to sit where she wanted to. She exercised her right, despite not needing to, just because it was her right.

Owning a firearm is another right that one exercises despite the fact that ownership is not needed.

She was sitting in the back. :ugh:

I'd stop comparing yourself to someone who has achieved a lot more than you ever will, even with a gun, and someone you obviously know little about.

Lord Spandex Masher 21st Oct 2014 22:51

Well it certainly seems like the usual crowd of Furriners holding onto each others' wang as they decide what's best for the Yanks.

So, kitchen knives are banned in Britain? No wonder the cuisine is forgettable and haggis is food.

Had a good laugh at that.
Just out of curiosity, what percentage of households do have guns.
With his 50/50 comment, then the 20-20-10%,i think he was spot on and that's why he was getting the laughs.
Towards the end when he said it was time to leave the subject, there was a small applause which was probably the 10%.

I got salt poisoning already...:\

A gun thread without 500N writing 90% of the posts? Unthinkable.

Matari 22nd Oct 2014 01:39

It's nearing the end of the month. This thread was probably ordered-up to increase page views; call it a cyber version of "bringing out the big guns."

I've seen dafter conspiracy theories here.

Andu 22nd Oct 2014 01:46

I think 500N's still on the banned list, svhar, but he still has visiting rights.

Surely, whatever your position on gun ownership, it was still amusing. Call me an old fart, but I would have preferred he avoided the c-word, but even with that, it was a well-delivered monologue - and yes, the audience was friendly, but I'm sure that was not guaranteed when he walked out on stage.

Love to see the audience reaction to the same monologue in some west Texas bikers' tavern or good ole boys' bar. The bit where he mimed opening the safe was brilliant.

Lord Spandex Masher:

She was sitting in the back.
Actually nope. She was sitting in the center of the bus in the first row behind the first 10 seats designated the "white section". Technically closer to the front than the back.

This is from the official government records: The National Archives

Do keep up chap.

con-pilot 22nd Oct 2014 04:09

Thank you Gordy. :ok:

I just got back home and was going to point out to Sir "Do keep up chap." his arrogant error.

Had to go out and get more popcorn. :E

Pinky the pilot 22nd Oct 2014 05:43

Solid Rust Twotter 22nd Oct 2014 06:34

Some slices of good Barossa Valley Mettwurst.

Slices? Should be spreadable.

Slice of Berliner landbrot, dab of mustard, some sharp cheese and a good spread of mettwurst, topped with chopped onion - Ambrosia...!

MagnusP 22nd Oct 2014 07:12

Hey, c-p, I'm not too keen on popcorn, so you can have my share. It's brussel sprout flavour, though. (or flavor, if you prefer)

Krystal n chips 22nd Oct 2014 07:27

" Hey, Dushan, did you hear about the guy who took out the Oklahoma City beheader with his 2nd Amendment-approved firearm as the perp was working his way through the veins of his co-workers

Do you have a second career writing the voice overs, or promotional scripts, for those equally dire American police documentaries at all ?

From previous threads those rough percentages translate into real life, and it's certainly easy to spot those in the 10% in this thread :p:p:p:p:p

Oh wow, and a picture too. :D

I realise that you may be anally retentive through no fault of your own but the delineation between the front and the rear sections would be a line behind the front ten seats reserved for whites and the back section, reserved for blacks - which is where she was sitting, correctly. No error, arrogant or otherwise. (How on earth can an error be arrogant?! :D)

Life can sometimes be a little more complex than, 50/50, halfway, equal measures etc., I realise that concept may be difficult to grasp for some of you and could be the cause of slow thinking.
