"I lost all faith in credit agencies"
When the GFC / Housing crisis hit the US. Some of the things they rated, a kinder kid could have done better :ugh: |
I believe we flush 25 million a day down the toilet due to interest repayments. (please enlighten me if I'm wrong) There is no need for a country like us to be doing this. Short term hits for infrastructure no problem, systematically yes its a problem.
We only have a good credit rating and relative low debt with respect to other countrys due to us being able to make the hard decisions. It would be good to keep it that way. Sticking our heads up our arse and waiting till we have no choice is not a good idea. |
$7 to see the doc, bargain! :}

" ... sigh, plus the $1000 or so per year surcharge whether you go or not."
I didn't see that bit. |
ie; the existing medicare levy.
I notice Kevvy still has that troublesome twitch when the pressure is on. |

Saw his mug at the royal commission for something or other, tonight ..
|
Yes, that was it.
|
The insulation thing; must have missed it, cheers. Kevvy has been keeping a deservedly low profile.
Universities being free to charge as they please for courses will (I hope) lead to improved standards of education. |
The Royal Commission.
Did you see Arbib or whatever his name is has managed to duck shove all the dirt onto the Bald one, saying he was in charge ??? |
:} Should be called 'the royal lineage' as it all gets passed down the line. :ok: Still a sad thing when you think about the whole reason for the enquiry.
|
Sad - both in terms of what happened and shows how stupid some people are.
FFS, Roof spaces are crap places to be in at the best of times. |
Has Sarah been on TV yet almost overwhelmed with an attack of the vapours over the horror budget?
|
"Meanwhile investment in developing clean technology is canned? And the govt is still setting themselves up for failure investing in the current manifestation of the NBN."
A fibre-optic NBN would mean that there would be no reason to subscribe to Foxtel. Of course, Tony Abbott was telling the truth when he said that he never discussed the NBN with Rupert Murdoch. |

PVO News Hour, van Onselen leaning with his eyebrows down on the outer ...
"I can feel the excitement listening to Bill Shorten for half an hour" |
"I can feel the excitement listening to Bill Shorten for half an hour" I've got some drying paint to watch if he's interested. :} I think Shorten was a better choice than Albo (though that hasn't made me popular) but...excitement? Nahhh, sorry. |
I probably didn't clarify his expression as PVO said, "I can feel the excitement listening to Bill Shorten for half an hour".
The downturned eyebrows indicated someone about to feel the pain :) Ive never seen a commentator like that show subtle sarcasm. |
