@priapism - Larry Pickering is a crack-pot and a crooked scam artist.
Do a Google search and find out his shonky business history, as well as the creditors and authorities chasing him. |
Relax, Larry's calendars do arrive eventually.

a crack-pot and a crooked scam artist. So was/is Gillard but it didn't stop her from being PM for 1097 days too long. |
Indonesian boats?
There's me thinking we had bought them all. So are they australian registered boats now. |
Ethel .... I just knew it was a mistake asking you a question.http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...cons/icon7.gif
|
The question should be who is telling porkies.
Wednesday Morrison says we respect Indonesian Borders, Friday he says we inadvertently breached their borders a couple of times. The head of operation sovereign borders implies it was a gps error. Key stone navy or arrogant pollies |
War in Australia (any Oz Politics)
I tend to agree with those who think the Australia government is playing a clever game here. I'd be very surprised if any incursion was inadvertent. There's an officer on any RAN ship whose whole job is knowing exactly where his/her ship is at all times. I know that hasn't stopped the odd RN ship clipping a reef/rock of late, but these guys, as much as we non-Navy types love to bag 'em, know their sh*t, and any territorial incursion made in those circumstances would have been made either pursuing a more pressing operational aim or on orders from above to send a political message to our neighbours.

Bloody iPhones and their too small keyboards!
|
Ethel .... you've just used the word, "inadvertently". There is a difference between that and "deliberately" even if Shorten and the rest of the peanuts on the left think otherwise.
|
Exactly, it's already been admitted that there was an error in who set up the operational boxes they used.
As usual the people of particular political leanings like to make it out to be something it isn't.:= Oh wait we do the same thing when the other side is in power, no problem:p |
Oh wait we do the same thing when the other side is in power, no problem As for the ADF-bashing going here, hey it's easy to be a keyboard warrior with one hand on your mouse and the other ......... oh, never mind. |
So a man in his 12 ft tinnie and his $200 gps can know exactly where he is yet a multi million patrol boat can't .
Either the gov is inept or the navy is an embarrassment, maybe this totally open government will inform us. |
Put a sock in it Ethel. It really is becoming boring.
PS Has the Pope spoken to you yet regarding your upcoming canonisation? |
Either the gov is inept or the navy is an embarrassment, maybe this totally open government will inform us. |
So a man in his 12 ft tinnie and his $200 gps can know exactly where he is yet a multi million patrol boat can't . Either the gov is inept or the navy is an embarrassment, maybe this totally open government will inform us. Most here have said that the "inadvertent" incursion by the RAN or Australian Customs vessel was almost certainly not inadvertent, but a deliberate - but politically deniable - move in the chess game that is international diplomacy. If it results in the Indonesian navy stationing a vessel to the south of Java "to protect its sovereign borders", it would seem to me to have been something of a master stroke by whomever it was who made this "inadvertent" navigation error. |
Andu .. exactly !
Now the Indons can rescue all of those poor souls in their territorial waters whose engine fails, boat takes on water etc. etc. etc. and not rely on those horrible Aussie sailors getting their GPS readings wrong and turning up in Indonesia's back yard inadvertently or otherwise. P.s and Ethel can stop writing in B****x. |
When asked why he was confident the mistake would not happen again, Lieutenant General Campbell said that he had put in place ''interim'' measures until the review was finished.
Read more: Scott Morrison admits Australia breached Indonesian waters during boat operations "Interim measures "Does he mean the Navy will update their I pads. Lucky it's only a war against untrained unarmed women and children and not seasoned baby throwers. Oh yes please say ten Hail Mary's for voting for Abbotomy! |
Why doesn't TA go back to the old style labour greens policy for 3 months, a few hundred or more will drown as it is wet season and cyclone season, then he can show the difference since they seem to forget it isn't happening with his policy.
Then revert back again. And now the undos have boats there, withdraw our boats so it is up to undo to rescue them, which as we know is unlikely to happen. |
Ethel
He is drawing the indo navy into it. It is a plan. Just because they are unarmed doesnt mean it's not a war. A few die, a few more will until they stop coming, no one I have spoken to across aus really gives a shyte about them when will you understand that ? |
no one I have spoken to across aus really gives a shyte about them Oh yes please say ten Hail Mary's [sic] for voting for Abbotomy! https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/i...YUTQm67AvNfakC As has been previously mentioned, both Bill Shorten and Anthony Albanese went to Catholic schools and were raised in the faith, even if they're not current subscribers. So were Paul Keating and Graham Richardson, along with many other notable ALP members. There are many valid bi-partisan reasons to bag Tony Abbott and his party, but being Catholic is not one of them. It smacks of religious intolerance; the same intolerance that is routinely applied to Australian Muslims by the right and criticised by the left. Therefore, IMO using the same tactics to criticise a right wing politician is both distasteful and poltically iffy. By all means criticise him and his party for their policies, but his individual religion should have nothing to do with it. |
