Question for those ex military people.

The GG's female Army ADC was standing off to one side,
in the attention position but with her hands in the at ease
position (ie behind her back).

Anyone know why she wasn't either at Attention or at ease
instead of a bit of both ?

To be honest, I don't think anyone who has been in the Military ever loses it,
especially if they have been an instructor or NCO.

I wonder if it's more the awkward 'I've got loads of cameras pointing in my direction' pose rather than a formal one. It looks similar to pics of uniformed government people at airports when a VIP turns up.
