Ah well you see - when one has had sufficiently large heaps of shit dumped on one at fairly regular intervals in one's life then one doesn't have to worry about matters like this...

Surely your life hasn't been one big bed of roses - there must have been some manure along the way?

Strangely enough no there hasn't, the manure bit one means, one has sort of drifted thru life tripping over pound notes, metaphoricly speaking.
One has the uneasy feeling that the universe is out of balance in this regard, and dropping a pile of shite on Drapers head is the only thing that will restore equilibrium.

Home-made Christmas puddings indeed, Mr Draper, though I am unable to guarantee they are exactly like your mum used to make. I can understand why people go for shop-bought ones these days, given that they have to be steamed for six hours initally, followed by another three hours on the day. But I think it's worth it. I don't have any silver threepenny bits though. If you have some spare ones lying about, I'd be happy to exchange them for the equivalent, say, in Singapore dollars? Or maybe euros?

Mr Spork, I am glad that your treatment is progressing, even if rather slowly. It isn't necessary to apply full make-up every day, you know - tinted moisturiser is often sufficient. But make sure that you always apply sun screen, even if it's looking a bit overcast.

Have to go - there's another pudding waiting to be steamed. At least I picked a rainy weekend.

Wonder where all the silver thruppenny bits went?, possibly transported through the digestive system of generations of urchins into the sewage system, one remembers hanging about the kitchen waiting for me old mum to finish making chrissy puds and chrissy cakes and scuffling with brother for the privilege of cleaning out mixing bowls with forfinger and tongue.

Even with predictions coming from Florida, no success. It would appear that Drapes has the cash!

Could have had green.
Where does one find a green chicken though?

Three things occur to me at the moment:

1) The only section of the London Underground map to show a loop is the end of the Piccadilly line at Hatton Cross, looping around the two Heathrow stations.

2) My brother has an expensive car that he uses very little - in fact virtually never.

3) I've never met a stoat named Jeremy.

I apologise if any of these snippets are interesting.

It could be a chicken very low in the pecking order: green with envy.

Don't be daft, Pedestrian, you can't get green chicken. You make it by coating blue chicken with yellow turmeric.

how do you scare a Islamic vampire?

A cross would probably make it mad rather than scared.

Just a idle thought.

Toenails grow a darn sight slower than fingernails.

I'm in dire need of a trim of all 20.

Hmmm interesting thought Wolf, think how hard life must be for a Jewish Vampire.
Drapes would be safe he definatly int kosher.
And what happens if a Vampire bites a vegan, and that poor buggah wakes up as one of the undead.

I would think bloodlust overrides all of that righteous "I don't eat animals or animal products" crap. There are so many delicious foods in this world that I can't see why one would limit oneself.

Because, twigletsglow, man is a creature of habit, and tends to fall into eating pretty much the same things whatever the professed scope of his diet. I ate many new and hitherto unconsidered delicacies when I gave up meat, and though I am not now vegetarian I eat very little meat, and tend to eat more broadly for it. Also I am a vegetable-eating semi-vegetarian, rather than the cheese and fake meat eating variety, so eat much deliscious fresh produce, healthier and tastier than my budget would allow for with meat as well.

Draper

Do not worry about the pile of poo waiting for you. Those blessed with overmuch luck in life tend to become unbalanced, mean and grasping, spoiled if you like. Now while I would hesitate to diagnose Draper as balanced in any way, it would seem from his demeanor on this forum that he is at least benign, even benevolent (excepting, of course, towards those as richly deserve it, like lawyers and Frenchmen). That will, I think, reduce the load that karma holds in readiness for you, Mr D.

Clowns, you really must remember where you are. If everyone starting making posts like that this forum would implode. Boring and pointless, remember?

I'm 50 years old and I never did learn to cut the fingernails on my right hand properly.

Sorry if I insulted you. I reread my post, and I think I come off very badly. Lost my head there. Feel free to whack me with a cricket bat.
