Mr Draper I'm disappointed in you.

Lorraine Kelly I can understand...Baby Oil I can understand.

The Cheeky Girls I don't understand...I I doubt I can ever forgive. I mean...they have OK figures but they've got Summer Teeth.....you know...Some are 'ere, Some are 'there, some are bleedin' everywhere! !

Just for you, Mr Spork.

The staff caring for the giraffe
Had to give it a regular bath
Because, being knock kneed
Whenever it peed
It dribbled halfway down its calf.

(Better late than never. Hissy fit over. )

Mr Drapes, did you know that in the western part of the 'black continent" one can purchase a cough syrup made from snails ?

Talking about loosely-knotted scarves, I'm suprized that nobody mentionned Isadora Duncan's sad fate ...

My, my, Ozzy, you have quite a way with words yourself. But I wouldn't give up the day job just yet.

Bre901, your link leads to an account of the success of snail extract on guinea pig coughs. Are you suggesting that Mr Draper is some sort of large rodent?

Here's something boring and pointless:

I leave my job today after 10 years in the same company.

Tell ya what, with everyone else leaving too (company closing - mass redundancy) it ain't half surreal.

Funny how you take something like the place you work, especially if you've been there a long time, for granted.

At least I get to spend the rest of the year at home doing the stuff I never have the time to do. You should see the list of tasks that the missus is putting together for me! (Going to be busier than I ever was at work, me thinks.

Anyway, must continue with packing away everything that isn't nailed down

My Sympathy Rugz

Been there, done that, got the p45.
Something usually turns up but it is no fun at the time.

The important thing I found is to get a decent cardboard box from the mailroom for your stuff as early as possible.
Taking your stuff out in a refuse sack is so uncool.

Prooner ignore a bad tempered post.
If you want to be heard ,she also reveals,

'tis little TCs Birthday today. I went to town at lunch & bought a card in haste.

Back under the cold glare of the tube lighting, I've realised on the front it say's "To My BIG Brother" Doh!!

I wonder what cards are available at the services on the M1 and how much they'll cost me

Tippex TC, Tippex... give it him in the dark, he'll never know.

(Wooley Edge cheaper than Trowell or LFE - worth the detour)

Well, I dunno, Mr Draper some of those heels can be a bit spindly, and stamping too hard might cause one to break off. I fear that a nasty infection might result if the said heel were to remain stuck in the prostrate body.

Last night I dreamed a deadly dream,
Beneath a lowering sky.
I saw a man killed in a fight.
And lo, that man was I.

The light in the window is a crack in the sky
A stairway to darkness in the blink of an eye
A levee of tears to learn she'll never be coming back
The man in the dark will bring another attack

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul.
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How ev'rything still turns to gold.
