TD I don't think it's the Southerners that are gullible - to the best of my knowledge we have yet to place anything simian close to a rope..... and before you say 'it weren't the Geordies' - what about Ant & Dec eh? EH?

Looks odds-on that singaporegirl is a Scorpio then. I used to be married to a Scorpio. Probably explains why some of her posts have me scratching my head.....

Sigh One has told you before BFU, Hartlepool lies far to the south in the forbiden lands,we regard Harlepudlians as southeners, besides one saw some southeners once, how do you know you haven't inadvertently hung some monkeys.

Those Ant and Dec persons live and work in the south now, among their spiritual kind, we Tynesiders would however be eternally greatfull if you could perhaps hang those two a little bit, or even a lot.

An electric current of 5 million amperes was detected in a flux tube between Jupiter and one of its moons – Io. Voyager did not fly through the flux tube as planned because scientists feared it might lead to a short circuit. Many then claimed these scientists had no balls and had chickened out but just to show them all how wrong they were – they bravely commanded the multi trillion $ probe to head butt Jupiter and knock the fecker off its axis.

“We showed ‘em” said a slightly shocked Jovian boffin. “Them suffern bugga’s are next”

Just over an hour ago someone said to me "I'll email you the document immediately"

I'm still waiting for it.

I've now emailed them chasing them up, why can't everyone be as efficient and quick as me.

But, said Mr Simmons, analysis of fossil frogs from East Anglia showed that the missing group probably came from the Balkans.

I'm sure the frogs in my pond are Italian. They pose on lily pads looking pretty but don't seem to do very much. Perhaps I should check how long their eyelashes are.

One begs to differ re your number six Ozzy

A Jiffy or 3.3357x10^to the -11 is the time it takes light to travel one centimeter in vacuum.
Incidently
A Shake of a Lambs Tail,or 1x10^-8 or
0.00000001 seconds, is the measurement of how long it takes for a imploding uranium shell to initiate spontanious fission.
It takes about three shakes of a Lambs Tail actually.

On further research it appear that those effeminate sissies from the world of computing have stolen the Jiffy from us hairy arsed nuclear weapons types and have used it to mean one clock cycle of the CPU .
Anyway the Jiffy snippet has already appeared in this thread and it also stars in the earlier USOIT,

Of course the Bible doesn't say there were three wise men; that would be an oxymoron. (Did it say whether the three gifts came in turquoise bags marked Tiffany & Co?)

This is getting incredibly pedantic but undreamt

One doesn't hear the word misandrist used very often. Probably little cause.

One was indeed amused to learn that the British Navy is having its ships scrapped on Turkish beaches. As the second US ghost ship arrives in Hartlepool, representatives of a Turkish yard were quoting today to scrap HMS Intrepid, containing 40 tons of asbestos. Naturally importing ships for scrapping in Turkey, containing asbestos is illegal.

Solution – take ‘em to Greece re-register and – no problem.

HMS Olwen and Olna became SS Kea and Kos and both contained sprayed asbestos, which is extremely hazardous and certainly cannot be contained on a beach.

Both were scrapped on Turkish beaches.

Remind one not to consider the seaside around Izamir, Turkey, for one’s summer hols.

Scriptural Wisdom.

Whosoever is wise. .. shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord. Ps. 107:43

A wise man will hear and increase learning. Prov. 1:5

... he that wins souls is wise. Prov. 11:31

A wise king scatters the wicked. . .. Prov. 20:26

The wise in heart shall be called prudent. .. Prov. 16:21

Be not wise in your own conceits. .. Roman 12:16

But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, to the Greeks foolishness but to them who are called. .. Christ the power of God, the wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 1:23, 24

True, there is no single definition of 'wise' in Scripture. Wisdom comes through application of law. Same as no single definition for 'qualified' in the profesional world, qualifications come with experience.
