One way ticket to Rwanda, Yorkshire Airlines. Aye up.

Aye up. Anyone know if the Chanel visitors will be flying with Yorkshire Airlines after a short stop over in sunny Linton on Ouse?

Dunno but I would it make any difference if the visitors also chose fragrances from Dior rather than Chanel?

Only for 100 men who will probably never get there due to human rights lawyers who will view this as an opportunity to make money. Even if 100 men were sent there that is only a couple of boats worth.

I see Ian Blackford was kicking off. Maybe migrants should be forced to live in Glasgow. That would cut the numbers down to a trickle.

And how pray, are you going to get 100 reluctant men onto an aircraft?
Hooded, manacled and chained to their seats?

My bro used to do air-extractions and the difficulties of getting just ONE person out are considerable.

Did nobody think of asking the professionals before dreaming up this zany idea? And Ruanda nogal?

Australia has been doing it for years with no problems so has Israel and Denmark.

Which other countries send asylum seekers overseas? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-61106231

if you read the paperwork closely, you'll probably find a paragraph that say you don't have to go to Rwanda if you make a sizable donation to the conservative party

No problems? Australia pays millions for it (that is for each detained person), Israel stopped it and Denmark signed it but never actually started deporting.

Could it be that many of the asylum seekers are FROM Rwanda?

I will believe it when I see some people on a plane, but have to say the whole scheme just appears awful and a bit half baked. However I have to say Rwanda is not that bad for a central African country, from my one and only visit there, but the bar is not set very high in that part of the world.

Cheers

Has Denmark not provided that invitingly small island off the coast a bit like Alcatraz, where Asylum seekers may repose at their leisure?

Hopefully the prospect of ending up
in Rwanda might deter some from paying to organised crime to get to UK.
we all know that not a single person will be sent.
Lawyers must be loving this
These are illegal immigrants - not ‘asylum seekers’ or refugees.
our streets are paved with good remember - they must be quite shocked when they get here and see all the potholes !

Point of order. They are migrants, It is not illegal to cross the Channel. Their status is determined once they arrive. The only ones that are illegal are those that arrive on a beach and promptly disappear into the undergrowth.

What carrier will want to take the deportees to Rwanda and how are they to be handled? Are they to be clapped in irons and shackled to their seats? How many handlers will be needed I wonder?

Just the one. Was it not a Labour government who attempted to make a similar arrangement with Tanzania back in 2003 ?
