Extra special service on BA

I am not (yet) a member of the mile high club, but if I feel the requirement for the qualification, I'll check in with BA. I looked on the BA website for instructions on how to sign up for the special service but haven't discovered it yet. Is anyone able to help?

As far as the links, the thread police have decreed that url's are not postable until one has made 10 or more posts......remove the space in the fourth position. I'm sure there is a good reason for the rule, but I have no idea what that might be.

Coffee, tea or... well, you know the rest.

I hope it is at least service with a smile.

One last thought, would that be business class?

Normally it's J class, but I guess in this case it would be BJ class...

There are only so many films you can watch. Well done BA for improving the IFE.

Nothing new here, it's been going on for years ranging from crew checking 'morning glory' to sneaking into the crew rest area during a meal service. Most crew keep quiet about it and not brag.

At a mile high if course, one would be firmly strapped in with the seatbelt lights illuminated

Not just BA, either. I worked in Bahrain in the 1970s, and it was common knowledge that the Gulf Air accommodation in Manama was the closest the place got to having a red light district.

If it's card, she'll show you where to swipe it.

In my younger days, I made love well above an altitude of one mile above sea level and we weren't even in an aircraft. Does that count?

The Upper Deck Business Class Bathrooms on BA A380s are so big that several people could partake at once (I imagine...).

Is this thread going to drag itself into the gutter and review the best a/c for some "inflight entertainment"?

I hear from a friend that 763 toilets are particularly cramped.

Apparently, allegedly, etc etc, there has always been a steady business amongst the staff of certain airlines in certain areas around the planet who have earned some pin-money ;-) on the side by imbibing the 'unusual' requests of the rich citizens of the countries where they were based.....my knowledge of this goes back to the 80's , but I'm sure that there were 'happenings' long before that.

There really should be an airline for high-spending passengers where all sorts of extra services are offered during the long-haul flights, including the above. Sounds crass, perhaps, but there's a market and as long as everyone is an adult and in agreement, let business do it's thing.

The girl in question has made the mistake of drawing attention to her activities. During my career in BA we had the odd pair of passengers make out but I was never aware of any crew doing so inflight but then I wouldn't necessarily know anyway would I?

BA will find out who it is and they will sack her. They have dismissed numerous crew, including pilots, for publicising inappropriate behaviour or making inappropriate comments on social media.

Like many big companies they are very sensitive to adverse publicity when in days past risque behaviour would be confined to any witnesses and rumour. The prevalence of cameras and the desire to plaster photos or video all over the internet has dramatically reduced misbehaviour downroute.

I can't remember what the current social thing was at the time but a few years ago a local flight business in the airport I was flying from advertised such an experience (You had to provide your own flight attendant.) I parked next to the aircraft one day and, frankly, it was squalid. The back seats had been taken out of a S/E Cessna and a mattress put on the floor. A flimsy curtain gave a veneer of privacy, nothing as luxurious as a decent airline toilet.

I think he was offering half hour flights, though looking at the condition of the aircraft I suspected it would take most of that getting up there!

(Yes, I know)

Operation lasted about three weeks.
