Question Jeremy Vine Show Channel 5?

With watching Jeremy Vine in the morning on occasions, I have noticed that one or two of the guests are there everyday. Are these people welded to their seats? then wheeled out in the mornings or are they being paid thousands to be their everyday!!

You mean you've watched it more than once?

Some 20 odd years ago I used to run a private club for a friend in a run-down area of Essex. A couple of weeks after I started I got a phone call from a TV researcher to ask if I was still interested in providing some local people for a TV program. (I think it was the Matthew Wright program before he finished). Apparently they had been regularly been sending (mini?) buses to pick up local folk for places in the audience of the program. They got a free morning out (with refreshments) and their faces on TV. I expect this still happens.

Thanks for that, it was a mystery why they had some of the same guests everyday.

The Jeremy Vine show is a load of absolute drivel. Sanctimonious and truly awful. A couple of hours later driving north he reappears on Radio 2. Are the British not sick of him, talk about over exposed? Presumably on an outrageously disproportionate salary from Channel 5 and BBC. Private Eye used to have a section called Colemanballs named after a particularly gaff prone sports commentator. Today’s JV howler was “the brain is very delicate and makes a piano seem simple”. Dear God, you could not make this stuff up. A pile of as the French would say merde absolute.

Probably a silly question but how you do know what was said on today's show?

But if you are aware that it's "absolute drivel", "sanctimonious", "truly awful", "over exposed" and "merde absolute", what on earth did you tune in to the show in the first place?
There is obviously something in that particular show that attracts you otherwise you would ignore it, something that you don't do.

Er, because it was pre tuned on the car and I like in general the music on R2. That still does not change my opinion that he and his shows are completely idiotic. It is also weird that my opinion is being challenged, because it is just that. Are you Jeremy Vine’s love child or something?

I would not voluntarily listen or watch any Vine show, but if we are out in the car we generally have Radio 2 on for possible Traffic Info,so sometimes have to put up with whoever is the R2 presenter LOL
