Albert died

Possibly my favorite British actor, Albert Finney, has died.. I loved his work, a strong actor with a twinkle in his eye

The Gathering Storm - not just a great performance by Albert Finney but also a last chance to see Ronnie Barker.

I saw him on the London stage in the early 60s as Luther - a magnificent performance.

My favourite role is Scrooge which got panned by the critics, not that I ever give a damn what the critics say.

His "Crocker-Harris" character in The Browning Version was a masterpiece.

Albert Finney was involved for a while with a wine bar on Sunset, just over from the Chateau Marmont, called Oscars. I don’t think Oscars is there anymore., any of the fans remember it.
