British Society

https://www.express.co.uk/news/polit...p-david-davies

Where will it end?

Scouts can no longer call their 'members' boys or girls?
The Movement have also been told not to refer to people they are communicating with, as: Ladies or Gentlemen> FFS.

Schools having to spend a small fortune from limited funds to build gender neutral toilets.

Jails - catering for trans gender inmates .

The PSNI tweeting that if you "bump into " someone under the mistletoe - without consent - it could be rape .

Where are we going with all this, especially on top of all the sex scandals that are emerging from people touching other people's knees 15 years ago.
Where will it end?

Can I claim against all those women that assaulted me back in the late 60s/early 70s?

And it wasn't my Trans they were after..............

Don't be silly - you are a MAN...................and men don't exist anymore, either in the TRANS gender world or when it comes to sexual harrassment.

Silly billy, oooops sorry, silly non ascertained nomenclature, ooop sorry: irregularly behavioural non ascertained nomenclature.

You know, given the way political correctness, ancient blame games and minority band wagon jumping are going, I wouldn't be surprised to see Prince Harry, some years hence, excoriated for being a slave owner because his wife claims descent from slaves and royals have always been owners.
That's at the very top of what passes for British society these days too! Quite astounding!

Minority rule

I have been voyeur on this fom many years and I finally feel compelled to comment with a very simple question what is the percentage of the population demanding the current conversation and demands

Is it OK to disregard the feelings of a group, if they are not in the majority?

Not everything is fair after a majority vote.

Funnily I was just reading this on the BBC website

Celebrity Big Brother: All-female launch 'to mark 100 years of women's votes' - BBC News

I have never watched the show and never would but this kind of meddling for meddling sake just makes me giggle.

I don’t where it’ll end, but it began when we gave women the vote...all downhill ever since. Women in the US were the key supporters of Prohibition and the Income Tax. No further proof is needed.

Surely if the Girl Guides are open only to young things who identify as girls, then they can be called girls, and the Boy scouts likewise. If you don't identify as a girl or boy you will have to join some other association.

First thing to note is the source of the hysteria. Sorry, should have said "article". It is the Express. So, put that filter in and it becomes a little different. Has anybody here ever travelled on an aeroplane or train? I may have used the wrong airlines in the past but I don't recall ever seeing a "Gents" on a plane. Use a public toilet on a street in Paris and anyone, regardless of gender, can put the required finance into the slot and use the facility without a thought of gender.
And of course, hands up all those who live in households with separate male and female bogs!

Didn't the funbus have a urinal facility. I know the 707 did, as I used one on an Egyptair flight, which had a passing resemblance to an open sewer.

Was that the one up-stream of the coffee machine?

But what about me? I donít actually want to use a gender neutral loo. I donít want to come out of my cubicle, wash my hands and check my makeup and see a big hairy male next to me. Itís different at home, I know everyone that I share my facilities with; not so in public.

Iím actually feeling discriminated against because as a female, I want to know when I visit the Ďladiesí thatís exactly whom Iím likely to meet in there. But then, because Iím not a minority, my views donít matter.

And the absolute bolleaux of the tosh about 'shared' facilities at home is exactly that, tosh as virtually all home facilities are in fact only 1 'facility' in 1 room and are only ever shared in a minority of cases.

Mrs SFFP and I are almost at the 40 year point and the lock on our 3 toilet doors is still used in around 99% of occasions. I may occasionally have a wee in her presence however in all of our time together what goes on behind her closed and locked door is and always will be her business and her business alone.

So shared facility my rusty sheriffs badge and not even a rational argument for this gender neutral toilet rubbish.

They will be whatever they identify themselves as....

It's an interesting proposition, unisex toilets. If nightclubs are anything to go by they will be full of young females queuing for the traps, doing their makeup, gossiping about the blokes and generally being noisy.

Not what I want when I'm in silent contemplation...

There is no such thing as "gender neutral". You are born with 46 chromosomes, and one pair determines your gender. You can't alter that.

You mean a 'knee trembler'? I reckon that's probably available to all regardless of gender.
