Alas, this may explain why she was reluctant to mention the engagement given the source currently has some significance in her life...

cavorting cheetah I didnt know you held such strong religious views. As regards Justin Welby looking the other way, he need not have to. Prince Charles and Camilla had a civil ceremony and then a blessing, and I see no reason why Harry and his bride shouldn't do the same.

In the short term this is really going to be like a Big Fat Gypsy wedding. Lots of tacky yanks with their stories and dreadful dress sense. I will avoid all coverage like the plague.
On a lighter note, wherever the wedding takes place, will Trump get an invitation? Traditionally every wedding need a black sheep uncle who makes an embarrassing speech and then goes off to shag one of the bridesmaids. Trump would fill the bill admirably!

There has already been a clue with Harry suggesting a 'low key affair'.

An "entertainer".
Sorry you are misinformed. As a USA Citizen with no UK heritage, the only way that can happen is via the 5 year settlement route and life in the UK test etc. After settlement you require further form filling and processing and need to meet the residency requirements for citizenship.
Suggest you read up on the following
https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk.
https://www.gov.uk/becoming-a-british-citizen
And by the way its no longer a stamp in the passport it will be a 'Biometric Residence permit' for settlement. Believe me I have just done all this for my wife and it takes years.

Think you'll find different rules applies, when it comes to royals. Our Crown Prince married a sheila from Dunnunda, and she was given citizenship very quickly indeed.

You may not like it, but that's what it's like living in a monarchy. Personally I'm fine with it; it has absolutely no influence or effect on my life what so ever.

I haven't read all the posts, but I'll be curious how the writers of Suits sort this out. I believe series 7 is underway, production or even broadcasting, and Mike will be really miffed if Rachel is killed off. Mrs Harry says she has withdrawn from the show, so something will have to be concocted. I know; she has a roaring fight with Mike, storms out to get a job in England, meets her Prince and..............no wait; that will have to be done by narrative as she's withdrawn.
Ideas on a postcard to 'Suits Writers Guild, PO Box ...........

Is that at all possible with this particular family and the demands of the infatuated public?

I just can't get visions of the wedding photos with a bunch of Americans in bright blue tux's and loud frilly shirts like a really bad 70's porn movie out of my head.

Has anyone else noticed the resemblance between MM and Pippa Middleton - or is it just my imagination?

I think itís fair to say that both Princes have done rather well for themselves.

I shall make no comment about their Fathers selection.

With help from the bank of Mum and Dad? - or would it be Granny?

I thought William and Harry did very well out their Mother's estate, independently wealthy?

What is wrong with two young people being in love???. Leave them alone, comments about people who don't know them personally are just as boring as reading the papers these days.

Personally, I blame TURIN for sending an irate email to the Beeb for last nights extensive gushing and fawning ( and this is before the wedding day itself ) including pasty chops getting all dewy eyed on "The One Show".
