The article quotes a "family member".
It can talk?

AM, indeed that is no joke. I was using a table saw to cut a log. The saw grabbed the log and my hand with it. Fast reactions and it just caught the tip. It seemed completely mashed but after some excellent A&E and follow up care it is fine. Very minor nerve issue and slightly odd nail growth.

Then one overall saved me when a chain saw went wild, thank goodness for patch pockets.

Then a hand grinder jumped and hit my leg by the knee cap.

All now fixed

It seems to me that life is trying to tell you something, and you are not listening.

If they weren't smoking beforehand they damn sure were after the petrol went poof!

Yeah, that is what SWMBO keeps telling me.
You wouldn't want to give her yet another chance to say " I told you so."

Oh come on, if you get to 74 without at least that many minor injuries, then you have lead a very charmed life.

" Je ne regrette rien " ......a suitable song for the inevitable occasion and even more so when the aspiring candidate has this embossed on himself.....well sort of.

My apologies for using French, and the immortal song and voice of Edith Piaf, but no direct Welsh translation could be found.

An interesting choice of location for a swim however although it would have been more interesting had the turbines been on....no matter, I'm sure we can all agree that the potential for the ultimate award is only a matter of time....

That's a good point, possibly not given the location.....however, this more expansive report surely confirms he can be fast tracked to the ultimate nomination.....

For any candidate, it must be soul destroying to have so many essential criteria in place ( deep cold water, an "ever so slight " blood / alcohol level disparity, the proximity of ten turbines and 271 previously successful attempts for example ) only to be deprived by the inconsiderate action of shutting down nine of the turbines.

Old Nic, thank you for those kind words. Whenever I go to do a job, such as felling a tree, SWMBO says take care.

Nah, I am going to leave my overalls off, wear my slippers and don't know where my gloves are

We moved into a new (to us) house.
First night, having retired upstairs, Mrs G-CPTN remembered she needed something from downstairs, and, without switching on the light, by the moonlight - she walked through the full-length glass-panelled kitchen door, receiving severe cuts across both knees - fortunately not so severe that she needed hospitalisation.
We replaced the (broken) glass with perspex.

G-CPTN, ouch. We have 15 panel glazed doors to downstairs rooms, I think you would knee the glazing bars rather than the glass. We are looking to get Premdor glazed which are more like a sheet of glass with flush metal glazing bars.

What sort of doors were yours?

My daughter in Cyprus had black mesh full length mozzie screen, in low light invisible. I walked through one.
