If I don't take any vitamin D3, how do I get started? Once I have started, do I have to take more and more each day?

Merry Christmas one and all! Redsnail, wherever you are hope there is some festive food/drink on offer! I trust Checkers will leave a few walnuts/After Eights unconsumed for you to enjoy on your return!

Well, as expected, the day was anything but enjoyable. A record Christmas temp of 43 (109+F) made sure of that! The minimum temp for tonight will be 28 (82+ F) so my portable air conditioner will be doing duty. The compressor tends to be a little noisy but I couldn't care less ... I will be cool and comfortable. Temperatures like this just hammer the life out of you. Been seeing pictures on the news of the lunatic fringe celebrating Christmas on the beach ... and drinking alcohol. Now there's an intelligent thing to do! Things will gradually cool down after tomorrow until we get a 31 degree day next Friday ... which will feel like we're having a cold snap!! I would love to be somewhere cold, preferably with snow and a lovely fire instead of sitting here dripping with sweat. Okay ... rant over and apologies to Krystal for mentioning temperatures. But apart from all that, I wish you all a very happy Christmas full of laughter and smiles.

Lucky on the Sunshine Coast that the sunshine stayed hidden behind the rain clouds. Dampened the looooooong lunch a little, but eminently more bearable. Started at 11am, still going strong (but a bit wobbly) at 9.30. I wonder if pigs realise that they taste so good?

Rained from dawn to dusk here, highs of 10C. Happy to report zero risk of bushfires.

Surprisingly we've had very few so far. I'm not holding my breath though ... someone's bound to hit on the idea of setting Kings Park on fire again. Feckers.
