Do we really knead more puns? Ooops, sorry that's a bread pun isn't it? A very shortbread pun.
Why is it that these days everything must be described as "an experience"? I have, in recent times, been invited to comment on my "shopping experience," my "viewing experience," and my "travel experience." Whatever happened to ordinary shopping, TV watching and going out? What I'm doing here of course is having an on-line experience ... or it could be a communication experience. Maybe it's a typing experience or a chatting experience or ........

By the time I walked back from my pub breakfast yesterday, the scaffolding used for my new roof had been struck but as I approached the house I was distracted by White Van Man parked outside. Last night, a quick top up stroll round the block revealed my house unadorned by scaffold and with no Sword of Damocles loose gutter hanging over the pavement on a length of string. It's finished, paid for and no worries! Takes the biscuit...

Anyway, you has missed out the key word......ultimate !.......when I was at skool, ultimate ment the last, i fink, but now, it means anything but as there's always another ultimate experience awaiting after the last one !.

I've walked six miles across boggy commons and stayed remarkably mud free and more importantly DRY... but as I digest brekkers and coffees in the pub, precipitation has started precipitating; at the moment it's transparent rather than translucent and I suspect my final 2.5 miles will be damp and muddy...
Might leave before a third coffee - four women have arrived with a bratlet whose entertainment consists of a video player with some nauseating American Christmas cartoon... Please don't confuse me with a nice avuncular old man...
