Yeah, did it once and got a cricked neck. Good lighting and mirror essential.

Thanks AC, my systems are generally OK but I am keeping it in mind. The friend I was drinking with went through it a couple of years ago and in the preceding several years I pleaded with him to get things checked - he needed a pee after every pint. When he eventually did it was in the nick of time. Suspect the problem on Saturday was a lot of physical effort during the day and not that much fluid, followed by a large quantity of alcohol which took a while to percolate through! Another friend has starting peeing more often than warranted and is getting himself checked.

Incidentally, I had a blood test earlier in the year after having a cough syncope-related fall which resulted in some stitches - they "checked everything" just to be sure, would that pick up any signs? I was told by the doctor that I was in very good nick, liver and diabetes I asked about especially!

Before my prostate surgery, I got to the stage of "Parity" when having a few ales with the lads - one beer in, one wee out. Spent more time away from the bar than standing at it, strangulated flow and all that. But all fine after the robots had their way with me.

The old rule was one for every pint plus one. It's not a rule for the old however.

Oh yes, people have been known to travel great distances for a Quebecois poutine. Personally, I cannot stand the chips and gravy version, which is an abomination,
