It seems that the Admiral might not be doing so well. If anyone has his postal address it might be nice to drop him a line to let him know he is missed, that we wish him well, and cheer him up a bit.

He's not really internetting so letters would be best.

Thumbs up

RBG - borrow a couple of sheep. You should be able to kidnap a couple from the mountains so they can have a working holiday in your garden then return them once the work is done.
Wholi, that's a very good idea.

Not so many years ago I was able to find Tony's address by doing a directory search, you might try that.
I know where he lives, but I'm not going to publish it ( a quarter of a mile from my Gran)

There are two A Draper that live next door to each other in Gateshead - but they are the same family so letters to either address will find Tony.

Grim news indeed. Hopefully the FSL will rally in the near future.

As changes go, this site is just ahead of TSB.

There is a warning writ large to shepherds in the sky this morning.
The deluge is due to start in about 10 minutes and will last all day
according to the guessers.

Today my friends is WET FRIDAY

What has happened to the ability to change the font size ?

This is awful news. Dear Tony, please get well. We all miss you and hope you will be able to return soon.
I found the address by using this site ... https://www.thephonebook.bt.com/person/# if anyone else wants to send a card or a letter to the skipper.

Morning folks.

The deluge has not started yet. As I'm having a day tidying up on me canal I expect to get wet anyway.

Best wishes to the FSL and here's hoping for a speedy return to the bridge.

Hello peeps, thank you for all the posts,am slowly creeping toward fitness but not a lot going on in my life at the mo,progress for getting out of my house requires various ramps and such before I will be able to flit hither and thither unaided, hopefully soon.
Thanks again for the good wishes.
take care
tony

Phew, was worried for a moment there Mr D.
Well, hopefully everything will start to come together soon and you'll be back to
frightening the MkIV's at the Post Office.
Take care of yourself and let's have you back to A1 fighting fitness.

It's great to see you back posting Mr D and as you can see lots of people have missed you. (D) I assume Bro Draper informed you, as he said he would, that I had called. I said I would pass on a message about you. Thanks Wholi for posting the news on here. What we need now Mr D is a daily message from you, it needn't be a long one, so we all know you are back in contact again and not off skiving somewhere. Long may you continue to post here.

Good to hear from our skipper again!!!! We all hope your good progress continues and that your recovery is a complete one. Those Mark IVs had better watch out once you get all the ramps and whatnot in place ... are you having afterburners fitted to the wheelchair? Grenade launchers? Those slashing knife things like on the roman chariots? You could have some fun with this!!!
