I went to Blackpool on an all very wet November weekend just to look around and ride the trams.

Was out walking to the 24hr shop and was surprised to hear a chorus of frogs croaking all the way from the Fraser river (1/4mi), until CX889 drowned it all out with the HKG flight departure at 02:22. Still damn chilly at night here.

Branching out? Or attending a board meeting perhaps?

In rural China a few years ago an old women farmer went to the doctor complaining about her feet. The doctor couldn't get her rubber boots off so he sent her to hospital. They found that she had worn them all the time by day and by night.

The result was that her toenails had grown so long that they had curved and stapled her toes to the soles.

I woke up this morning with a weird allergic reaction - half my tongue swollen to the point I couldn't close my teeth together. :o

Woke up the wife and went to A&E, and while it's sorted - still have no idea what caused it.

Or as one doctor was heard to say, "There's something strange afoot here."

Coat ... door ...

That's worrying Checkers, especially the not knowing the cause.
Hopefully it was a one-off reaction to something.

It is chucking it down here and the poor milk man has just dropped off my
bottle of milk. Poor bloke looked like a drowned rat.

Any chance that while you slept, possibly with mouth open, a mosquito bit you? It would have itched too, I think.

The doctors did look for bite marks but none were found. Not many mozzies in the UK.
Fortunately, no repeat today.

There's three at Salisbury Hall - but they don't bite.

Morning all,

Still in Exotic SIAM, not getting much done as we seem to be chasing the gradnies around or putting them to bed.

Grand 2 had her first birthday yesterday. A buch of local kids came for eats and cake.. A fun evening.

Evening all, and the first one where I didn't have to go out - layered.
Spring is a slow coming time this year.
Watched 2 787s in a row land in 5 mins. Is the Dreamliner now ubiquitous? Hmmm...636 in '17, 670 in '18.
