Married on 28th September the same date (not day) that I joined up. Nice to look back fondly on one of them.

Married on 14th February, not for Valentines nonsense, but Mrs h's father was a vicar and could only fit our wedding on that date.

It was a miserable day.

Good to see you back, Mr Draper.

Which reminds me, and I mean this in a non nasty way, of a one legged guy I met a few months ago. He had an unusual work sideline as a film extra. He would lie around a battlefield smothered in tomato ketchup. Apparently did quite a bit of work in GOT.

Talking The Admiral's Barge and Captain's Gig Alongside

Aye Mateys! Rig the mains and strike the royal topgallants! Pipe Adm. Draper aboard!

Great to have you back, Sir! I shared the concern of the crew here and am relieved to have you back on deck.

I empathize with your frustration with your smart TV's onscreen keyboard. We have a Samsung 6200 50" smart TV; my failing vision and arthritic hands made for slow and inaccurate input. Not to mention that, like so many of the ladies in the steno pool, I am a "huntin' pecker" when it comes to typing/romance.

We invested in an inexpensive (~$25.00) Logitech k400R qwerty keyboard plus function keys which communicates with the television via line-of-sight infrared. This device makes life ever so much easier, especially when I hand it to my speed typist wife. Perhaps you might give one a try?

Stay Strong and Keep Healing!

- Ed

Cover the card tables and whoever won the sweepstake: declaring FSL return date.

I can say the prize fund of one button: has gone missing.

Checkers and I are back home after a fun weekend in Kitzbuhel, Austria for the World Airline Ski Championships. All limbs intact.

Hope every one is well and good to see FSL back on deck.

Ah! The joys of misplaced modifiers! I think Tony should try one of each...

When we approached the minister to ask if he would do the honours, he asked what time of day we had in mind. When we told in "about three in the afternoon" he replied "Oh no, I'll do you at 11. Scotland are playing France at Murrayfield....... and I've got a ticket".

Normally I would never suggest that JBers use voice-recognition software for fear of unleashing an ELE. There is great benefit from having to actually type a message, if you know what I mean.
However if Tony is not currently comfortable with a keyboard, he might be interested in looking into it for his super-computer.

Admiral Sir,

If you have a USB Keyboard n Mouse, they should work when communicating by tele..

Just plug the USB thingy into the side of the tele and it should be recognised.

Good morning.
Everything hereabouts is white.
-2C, feels like -10C, sleety showers and a chance of black ice.
More hibernation required.

Morning folks.

"Only available in white" would adequately describe the landscape hereabouts at the moment.

Fresh stocks of milk and tea bags are held, so no need for concern.

One is not going to me canal today - there was too much resemblance of a snowman yesterday.

Dusting of snow here today and looking bloody cold outside.

Sproglette 1's football match cancelled yesterday but sproglette 2's game went ahead. She's nearly always the smallest player on the pitch and I was worried that the strong wind would blow her away. Amusing to watch girls playing in woolly hats and the goalkeepers in parkas and scarves 😀. Sproglette happy as she scored 2 in a 5-3 win.

Morning all,

back from an extended trip to KTM, BKK, SIN, CNX... only to return into a bleak winter's morning.

Good to learn that the FSL is back on the bridge!

For a touch of spring - 7pm tonight Countryfile on BBC1 visits Pembrokeshire. I might be a bit biased, but it's certainly a contender for God's Own County.

Not a lot of spring on view there RBG, just a couple of presenters freezing their bits off in admittedly beautiful countryside.

Off to Belgium for an overnight trip.

Morning folks.

Porridge for breakfast, butty box packed, flask filled and getting prep'd for another day of getting muddy. One will wear extra-thick socks to keep me tootsies warm.

Don't forget the extra-thick undies to keep your other buts warm, 4ma.

Karearea ... how is your daughter doing? Improving all the time we hope.

Thank you, Bluey - my daughter has made some slight progress over the past few days, less unsteady/dizzy; however still issues with short-term memory, and very very very tired. One day at a time.
Thanks again, appreciate the enquiry
