Morning peeps, blue skies above us here, very interesting layer of fog running along the other side of my valley this morning, valley bottom clear top of the valley clear, just a thin layer along the middle, hmmm wonder why fog does that, one must investigate and possibly publish yet another learned paper into this phenomenon.

Sadly the men who could produce something like that are all pushing up daisies now and the machines that it could be done on long converted to razor blades.

There was a small shipyard, J. Samuel Whites in my home town of Cowes when I was a nipper. The largest ships they made were destroyers. I remember the day long clang clang clang of the riviters and the factory hooter.

Belgian chocolate seashells

Just to prove how good I am, the box has been sitting unopened for a week and a half - until now.

It contains 22 tasty morsels. Now that is divisible by just two numbers, which complicates the job of sharing them out between myself. Two a day for 22 days? Or

Unhappy

I have to agree with you Mr D. This morning at church the children from the parish school were presenting several readings. Under the supervision of the head teacher they were all very well behaved. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of several younger siblings. It wasn't the fault of the children, rather their parents, mainly infrequent attenders, but good to see them there, who seemed unaware that it wasn't really acceptable for their little dears to scream and shout, attempt to murder each other and run around and kick the wall panelling. Never mind, at least they came to support their children but it made me realise the accuracy of the statements made by various Parish Priests about my dogs who have attended with me when on holiday, when they said "They are far better behaved than many of the children we get here" and in a way, I find it very sad that my dogs know how to behave but children don't.
