Only one winglet
Someone had better tell Airfix, so they can modify the mould for plastic injection, before any kits are made for real.

One would have thought by now our flying machines wouldn't need wings, apparently they have captured anti gravity flying machines at Area 51 and have had em for over fifty years, time they broke out a box of spanners had at em and reverse fettled the buggas.
Still flying round in winged tin tubes squirting prehistoric fossil fuel out the back and manouvering by moving slabs of metal up and down and side to side in the in the slipstream is just not on these days.
We have such things as eletricity and running water now.

Well ... in civilised areas such as Gateshead you might have those things. We colonials, on the other hand ...

Positive outcome.

Yeh but are there long enough cables for long haul flights.

Besides, the cables would get tangled whilst on the ground.

Highlight of our day (week, month...) was a 30-minute flight from the local aerodrome, including some steep circles over our house for photographic purposes. What curiouses me is that Mrs SSK, normally the most nervous of flyers, loved every minute of it.

A bonus was that the aerodrome was holding a fly-in, with lots of aeroplanes lined up, including several British visitors. And a reconstructed WW2 American military camp. This weekend is the anniversary of the liberation of St Omer - by the Poles, as it happens; the Poles, like the Brits and the Americans, are held deep in the affections of the locals. One can't say the same about the other side.

I don't know how I can bring myself to say this but the sun is shining
and there's not a cloud in the sky.
The gods are indeed happy.

Thanks for that video ricardian.
Not a great deal had changed in the next 20 years apart from
the death of the trams.

Another bright and sunny start to the day.
