Good morning all. A tad dull here. First game of the season tonight. Been some strange results this weekend.

I may have this wrong, but surely there are only two planes that have actually dropped nuclear weapons? Both Super Fortresses.
Our nuclear tests were done using Valiants. After having read the did you fly the Vulcan on the Military forum as my Uncle flew them, they definitely carried them, and I believe the QRF had them on board at all times.

Morning peeps fine sunny start here but still waiting for a proper summer to start, they's leaving it a bit late though, nights are already noticeably cutting in.

Our early nukes had the bang bit surrounded by lead shot the crew had to unscrew a plug and let the lead shot pour out before they could light the blue touch paper and drop the buggah on someone, however we can take pride in the fact that we dropped the largest atom bomb(fission weapon) ever produced with a yield of 500 kilotons.

Good morning to all.
Sky is it's usual colour - grey.

Life on board can sometimes get a little tedious. Here is a picture of the
British Royal Family reliving their boredom by taking potshots at the crew
members.

Morning folks.

Very grey over this side of the bay. Had to wash another load of Sahara off the vehicles and outside accoutrements this morning.

Into town shortly for a visit to Specsavers, whilst Mrs IB builds into her usual eve of departure panic.

Hoping the Baggies start the season off with a solid home win tonight.

Morning all, grey start and heavy rain out to the West.

I'm not sure I believe this story? That must be close to a pound and a half a week in real money.

49 Sqdn, Valiant's, dropped the nukes at Christmas Island.

I believe the Valiant at Cosford is one of the a/c that actually dropped at least one of the nukes.

Greetings,

Grey, cool, WET, he guesses better.

We is late today. Bad day today as it is market day and the wx is junk, so the happy holiday maker will shop instead.
Must investigate the revived supermarket someday, the staff seem to have been retained, good news in these times.

Pork Fillet in some form tonight.

Dear Iberian wallahs,
What's the weather like down your way in early November ?
We were thinking of hiding in Fuente for a couple of weeks but not if
it's likely to be -50C and subject to heavy deluge.

Morning. Humid here.

Thanks for the info on the air-dropped nukes. Bet the pilots showed a clean pair of heels after they dropped the buggers!

Herr D., the Christmas Island with the guano is in the Indian Ocean while the nukes one is in the Pacific. I just looked up the Pacific one on the map, and boy it really is in the middle of nowhere! It's time zone is UTC +14!

Oh dear, hands, I see Wodders has just had some weather as soon as you even think about going there!

Back from Specsavers and am pleased to report that eyes passed the test. No change from 5 years ago. Slight tweak to reading scrip though.

Most annoying to exit their emporium to find it was RAINING on this side of Ma Lager as well.

Off to the local to celebrate eyes passing and Mrs IB's impending departure. Gate B13, 11.45 at Pablo's manana.

handsfree

November can be very nice, warm and sunny in good years or very wet in a bad year, if you pick a week when it rains.

Ibbie, you may have a dodgy knee, but you're a master at covering all bases for hands!

Speaking of which, the weather guessers say we're going to have an afternoon of rain and the sun has just come out!

We shall see.

Up in Wodrick land, Torrox council have a squad of beach rangers who, if you leave a towel on the beach to reserve a place, will confiscate it and then charge you 30 to get it back.

Tis cheaper to go in Dunnes and buy a new one.

Thanks Ibbie.
Think we'll do it anyway and take the chance. Bound to be better than here.

HF I have just checked the last four years for amateur weather stations close to Fuentes and the worst is last year when there were seven days rain. Temp in the high teens to twenty.
Like you say it will be better than the low cloud and driving drizzle of Donnington, but with the current world weather who can tell.
We are having showers today, unheard of in August, and the pinkies are all jamming the shops.
Not Bob Marley, filling so no one can move.
Why do the Spanish shop 'En Familia'

Do you want us to pop down and wave her off ?

This augments last years effort of the introduction of blue parking bays, still free but max two hours and you need to display a clock (one time 1)

Misuse = 90 and the local police patrol all day, this so the locals can park and do their business.

Beaufort, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. I was stunned by the huge number of places where fast food could be obtained and consumed both on and off the premises and also the variety available.
