I was going to make a "not unusual in Spain" comment until I saw that it was in Spain.

Is it due to diminishing economic circumstances? - or just disdain for animals?

At least the dog ended up alive and in a rescue centre and not dead or dying in a rubbish container.

I've had an email from Exascot as well.
Definitely banned I'm afraid.
I'm not happy about that

There are insidious ways to exclude PPRuNers from p*sting without announcing to others that one of their kith has been deemed PNG.

Well see Man Utd has invested wisely some of their 750million sponsorship deal.
Goes towards referees wages!!
That's why I always buy RED grapes which have a long shelf life. They aren't sour or bitter, whereas the light blue dye they apply to white grapes to give them an artificial blueish hew, quickly turns them sour and in most cases bitter, shortening their shelf life. The RED ones also now come in an upmarket packaging

Or, underhand, as many of us would say.

A great shame about Ex-ascot and Mrs. I used to really enjoy his reports from the dark continent. Is it a permanent ban does anyone know?

I do hope it's temporary. I like the dispatches from the backwaters and hippos.

What is the fluid level in the glass?

If at 50%, I reflect that the original purpose was to drink said fluid. After filling the glass and drinking some, the mission is now halfway completed and the goal is closer. This makes me an optimist and a questioner of some psychologists.

One tends not to be told (IME) - unless it is permanent.

It seems to be.
The banning of his wife because he might use her handle is more difficult to fathom.
The moderation in JB always used to be 'flexible' but nowadays .........
I agree that the postings from both Bots and a minor Greek island were of interest, particularly as we went to the same secondary education establishment.

A very pleasant evening has been had in the watering hole.
Extremely busy and gasp .... horror .... folk under the age of 30 deigned to
enter the place. Young lasses in short skirts and low tops are not good for
the general well being of some of the old codgers.
At least two have gone home for a long lie down and extra sedation.

A small glass of malt will be raised to absent friends.
A turn onto 156 degrees should find them

Bad news about the Bots peeps. Who mods JB now? Never see Wholi posting so he may have given it up. Still, banned people have mysteriously re-emerged under another handle, so we may still hear about deepest darkest Africa

Must be about a year since I got chucked out of R&N....When I got a new super 64bit 'puter, I wasn't signed into the Forum and lo, and behold, R&N was accessible.....I really shouldn't have bothered.... that section has deteriorated dramatically, since I joined some years ago, now.
Tf you look in on the Digger's fora which cover Aus, NZ, Papua NG among others, there are some damned good threads on there Moderated with a very light touch, they can get a bit "robust" but they all come out clean in the end.....I have seen some real spats there, but the Aussies crack -on when the beer's worn off, with no grudges. other , heavy-handed Mods woth shrinking forums, could learn a thing or two there.

One hasn't been to Bots for over a year now, hope it's only an interim ban and the reports will be coming back in again soon. One misses the stories of hippos and gardeners...

Hot night here again.

Admiral Sir,

Request permission to dip into the petty cash and buy new pumps?? Ours seem to be knackered and new second hand ones can be had in the local market for 2pounds 3&6.... each...

Either that, or we get antonio to work with a bucket n long rope.

They have both been banned. Mrs EA because Mr EA might use her ID!
That is really disturbing. He could well have other friends who will let him use their log-on: would they all be banned too ... just in case?

I would not like to see our Botswana/Greece folks disappear ... their posts are really enjoyable.

Like our revered captain one tends to stay safely tucked away here on this vessel and rarely ventures out into the dangerous wilds of other forums. It's scary out there.

G'day to you all.
Tis the Sabbath. At least it is here in the UK.

Just about light - the mornings are really starting to draw in now - and
back to overcast again.

Hello, hello, hello.
What going on here then ?
