Rain has eased off but me lavender bushes have been flattened, and it's got a bit warmer.

We don't have a climate in the UK, we have weather!!

Yes, belated happy birthday Jim.

Rubbish day weather-wise here.

The daughter's boyfriend had quite a bumpy landing at STN coming back from Berlin. While I was watching his flight on finals on Flight tracker this afternoon I saw the EZ flight from TAV approaching LTN. I vaguely wondered if Checkers was driving?

The trouble is flying off to Dublin on Tuesday for Uncle Sean's funeral.

Good day all, a tad late due to an impromptu party last night.

Happy Birthday Jim

Now dare I ask if Nigel went to the football in Santa Clara last night? If he did and went to cheer on Barca, he would have been disappointed, as ManU won 3 1.
Better things to do than watch the Reds or waste my money.

Are you in our colonies to the West Mr Nigel? you seem to report in at strange times? if so could you bring me back a pair stag horn handles for a Colt SA Army instead of a stick of rock please.

Thanks, one and all for burp-day greetings.
That was not a trypo: a most satisfactory meal was consumed at our (Milford) Eyetalian last night. Ate too much, but recovered in time for church today. Then to a watering hole which was not Handsfree's and the exercise was repeated, in company with a birthday-girl and a wedding-anniversary couple.
The only person with nothing to celebrate was Mrs Jim. But then, she has me: surely a cause for celebration?

I hope all the coach travelers got to their destination.

Is there ever a tank recovery vehicle when you want one.

One has just successfully taught one's South African housemate to do the TimTam Slam. This, of course, is a traditional Aussie rite of passage, the five-star rating being reserved for those who can get the rest of the TimTam into the mouth before it completely loses its structural integrity. The learning process can be somewhat messy ...

Morning peeps, rain all through the night and continuing, the sky looks like it did in Atlantis just before it plunged beneath the waves.

Morning folks. Woke up with a cobe in by doze. Nose running like a tap, sneezing for England, - I'll survive (Mrs 4ma sez so).

Greetings Gentlefolk,

Blue, sea mist below, 26 for a guess of 38 in places later.

Visiting my Gestoria shortly to pay her bill for the tax return, and the magic hands later forza shoulder.

A quiet day for Monday

Name of the person who claimed the phantom had been slain, in quadruplicate!

Morning folks. No rain here in Thanet.

However, in view of Wodricks weather picture for the morrow, thinks I shall travel back to Ma Lager in shorts.

Only five more weeks and we'll be able to start packing Winter up to ship back up the top side to you people. Must admit to really looking forward to it. It's been down here too long. Already already.

My parents are away in Perth on holiday, and while they are away the water pipe to their house has burst, flooding a neighbour's garage.

Their rather long concrete driveway shall have to be dug up for the repair - and the house insurance doesn't cover the water supply.
