Sunday again.
How many Sundays do we have in one week ?
There seem to be an awful lot of them.

Broken clouds at 800' but the forecast is fairly hopeful.
Looks like a smattering of rain before the sun eventually arrives though.

Kippers for breakfast.

Morning folks. Another nice day apart from politically. Today is the crunch. Even if they get out of it, it will only be until the next time.

6 days to go to the move south. I spoke to our staff yesterday. 'How are you'? 'fine but I had to go to hospital because I am not well' According to our house sitter who took him it took 8 hrs for him to be seen and he is still not well. I have authorised a private doctor. If we had been told we would have done this in the first place.

Father's estate was finalised yesterday. My brother is retiring One is not, one would get bored.

Morning. Wall to wall grey here and showers popping up. No problems, the lawn and plants need it.

Sadly, I'll be attending another funeral shortly. My wife's best friend's mum died recently and dad was too ill to attend the funeral. As most suspected, he is now about to join her. It happens so much, but is so tough on the kids.

Good advice from parabellum re the painting. In our manor, the temperature for painting is too at 75 degrees and too low at 74 degrees.

handsfree, I'm sure you'll be the first to admit you made a big mistake leaving Ibbie's trainers in the bar. In fairness, you must have been in a rush. I thought you of all people would have learnt you've actually got to see them board and wait for push back before considering your job done!

Hope you have better luck today!

Morning folks. One's body is a bit achy from yesterday's endeavours.

Over cast a bit here but no wetness as yet although the wind is arriving from the general direction of HF's residence.

Any rain will be useful in helping put out the annual fire at the local re-cycling company. Tis a bit of a nuisance with all the road closed, road re-opened, road re-closed palaver. I wish they would tell us in advance of when the place is going to burn down next, so folks might arrange to be away for a few days.

Mea culpa, angels.
Problem is - which bar did I leave them in.

Don't worry Handsfree, they will be out walking the streets now and possibly in a bar, you will just have to keep visiting bars 'till you find them! (The difficult part maybe getting their new owners to give them up!).

No need to do that parabellum. Trainers have just been confirmed as still being at EMA, having black coffees, awaiting their flight to Vittoria, which leaves around 02.00 in the morning.

It's very humid and claggy here this morning.

Awaiting the arrival of the ankle biters, who are due any minute,Think I shall go and hide in the garden bar.

Argh! They have arrived!

But that's yer art innit not proper painting like walls and things, that's painting. Deffo woman's work. Or paid bloke, could always be a paid bloke, as long as he don't want too much.

Painting

I completed a two hand paint around the fire place in the RiS family secondary residence on Friday. I had to put some trousers on despite the heat but I managed to do it without soiling my clothes.

The main difficulty I see about painting is the preparation and the clean up after that.
