So sad to have lost Arthur at such a relatively young age.
I too am but an infrequent visitor to PPRuNe these days but I heard the awful news on farcebook yesterday.
His generosity and big heart were legend and he will be remembered for a very long time yet.
RIP westie

Traditional or otherwise?

Such sad news. Desperately sorry I can't make it up to that beautiful part of the world to say goodbye.

When I was having personal problems he sent me a most kind and thoughtful PM which I still have in my inbox.

Thanks Arthur. God bless.

RIP Westie - always enjoyed your posts, particularly those with photos of a most beautiful part of the world.

Seems ironic that the vehicle by which many came across him has been somewhat diminished at the same time as he departed.

Westie

We will be attending the funeral Caro.

Maybe we should all take a breath, realise that life is short, and mend rifts / build bridges.

Arthur's passing has really saddened me: top bloke.

Unhappy RIP Arthur

I was very fortunate to meet Westie when he volunteered to bring his disco to my wedding reception half a dozen years ago, along with Sue and Tez.

A great guy, and we had a few exchanges since then over the electrical installation in my "ham radio" shack, which were very helpful. Go in peace, Pal.

So sorry to hear of Westie's passing.
Enjoyed the photos and the his tales of the electrickery fairies.
He will be very sadly missed.

As others have said, life is too short.

Regret that I cannot be there tomorrow to say goodbye. Poor health and the court case paperwork compilation regarding grandchildren prevent this.

Pleased that so many looked at the photo I put up of westie. A tribute in itself.

A glass (or three) raised here as well. A good man taken before he should have been. Rest in peace Westie.
