In Hollande’s France nothing will be done to halt the large swathes of Muslim neighborhoods that are now considered "no-go" zones by French police and electorally sensitive zones by Hollande. Police will not, and are not required to, enter these zones.

I hate to rain on Mr Pickering's parade but he needs to catch up, especially as it has just been announced that France will be ignoring certain aspects of the European convention of Human Rights.

La France prévoit d'enfreindre les droits de l'homme avec l'état d'urgence

Even prior to the announcement over the last two couple of weeks nationwide in France the Gendarmes have been kicking doors down in many a "sensitive" city area, and indeed a few doors of gone missing in the countryside.....

Obviously never been to Manchester either or he may, possibly, have realised that overall, the City has long had a multi-cultural perspective....

Hasn't sunk in, has it? Multiculturism in Europe is recognised as a failure now, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Holland, France to name a few, who have gone public on the subject. The UK is also a member of that list, the UK is a a multi racial country, not multi cultural, anymore.

Yes, I have indeed walked around Southall....and, apart from Tower Hamlets, every other location mentioned.....and a few more besides.

Thus far in my sheltered life, one is totally unscathed.

Thank you for today's sociology lecture.....a fan of Mr Pickering perchance ?

From the Daily Mail, but all the same enlightening, let' hope it's just journalistic license.

And for that Basil, you have to thank Mz Merkel. But in her eyes, everything is normal and under control.
