Before I crouch in the corner with my thumb in my mouth . . .

I'll just mention one more thing that has suddenly become important to me.

I can't find any staples for my OFREX ESCORT 50/60

Now, this may not seem very important in the greater scheme of things, but after calling a company with a most appropriate name, and having the wrong staples put in with an unrelated delivery, I want to know how a company called that couldn't know what size their staples are. They really didn't know the 'across' dimensions - not even after being handed to an expert.

Expert, the 'dims' are loud and clear on the back. WhyTF are all the pictures of the front with a silly meaningless designated number when the good information is on the back? Yes, I know they're made in China, but that's not, or shouldn't be, the point.

Using a vernier, I measure 10mm across, and 6 (shank) deep. That's a nice size. It's been a nice size most of my life. Indeed, this one of mine must be 50 years old. Why in the name of all that stapely, can't I fill this fine old machine?

Right, I'm off to my corner now.

I knew a LATCC supervisor who reckoned he sucked his thumb when the pressure built up - err, emm, he probably had a stapler on his desk too
