All Law is “Alternate” re the context of prosecutorial intent. Any public attempt to negate an election wil have consequences for those who pursue it.

EG, Mueller himself has

#1. Gotten far afield from his remit as special “counsel”.

#2. Has extreme exposure to the arrow’s U-Turn, and a hit on his behind....

Hillary Clinton, as SecState, made obscene profits from numerous illegal insider acts involving Mueller, and many many others.

We shall see. In DC, one cannot fire the cannon without severe blow back from black powder.

just sayin’

If you are going to identify the meme starters, it might be instructive to get the spelling right.
While anything that started on 4chan usually has me rolling my eyes, your reference got me a googling. WTF is he referring to?
Ugh. OK, now I know about QAnon. It's a hybrid attempt at an acronym/abbreviation. (I wonder if they think the moon landings were faked?)

Q for some abstract level of security clearance (I've never heard of such a thing, but I've been out of the security clearance business for a while )...
Anon ... anonymous. (An allusion to that on line vigilante group, Anonymous, or not? Unclear, maybe trying for that kind of cachet).

Conspiracy Theorists, and in this case, I'll offer "Conspiracy Theory Originators." I'd say these are a step beyond tin foil and peanut butter.
(All this from the wikipedia page, with the usual caveats).

I think you may be wrong about our dear Concours77, however. He's been, under a variety of names, posting on PPRuNe for nine years, or so.
I've gotten used to his style, and his general concern with cover-ups.
(See some of his posts on the recent Lion Air crash for a few examples)
Not seeing him fit that group based on past history, but the appeal to "the deep state" seems to have struck a nerve with him of late.
I'll bet the under.

Meanwhile:

"If we don’t get what we want, if we don't get what we want one way or the other ... I will shut down the government...." - Trump

I've known a few babies like that over the years - but usually under the age of 4, not over the age of 70. "I'm gonna hol' my breath until I tuwn bwue!"

To be even-handed, Chuck Schumer let his irritation get the better of him with a silly "The-New-Yorker-will-not-be-edited-for-the-old-lady-in-Dubuque" Elite-Coast put-down - “When the president brags that he won [GOP Senate flips in] North Dakota and Indiana, he’s in real trouble.” Not the best way to tamp down regional divisions.

A different sort of tea party ....

More like the one from Alice in Wonderland, this one! I had no idea how interesting C Span can be.

What happened to " ... and Mexico will pay for it!" That was a big hit with many of those who voted for Trump, so why the fuss now about needing Congress to vote funding for this border wall? If Trump thinks Mexico will pay for it, then he should just ... get Mexico to pay for it.

Another thing, one that Schumer touched upon, is that this wall is just a fantasy.

Not least, as any tree-hugger can tell you, such a wall would be an ecological disaster. So there is that.

It's also notable that wall testing so far has only involved the US military. It would be good fun to have a contest featuring various other experts in wall breaching and scaling, when Mexican gangsters come to mind. Give various groups of contestants 5 minutes to get over the wall, grab a bag of Benjamins, say, and sprint off into the mesquite. Then we would see just how ineffective this imaginary wall would be.

So you build a 30-foot high wall, described by some pro-Trump, pro-wall press reports as "nearly impossible to scale," meaning of course, "possible to scale with great difficulty." Yes, and it's nearly impossible to find a 31-foot ladder, but I found an offer from (name redacted) for a 35-footer "just like that." Once atop the wall, you just secure a 30-foot climbing rope and rappel down the far side and there you are, I guess; about $2,000 worth of commercially available kit just beat a multi-billion dollar wall.

If Trump wants to call this some sort of border war, assuming that word "war" does not cause his bone spurs to flare up, then he might want to crack open a book on tactics, or just ask Mad Dog Mattis about how guerrilla warfare works. In part that is by choosing certain spots to gain local superiority over a vastly more numerous enemy. Start with a feint in one spot that draws the Border Patrol and then quietly cross at some other place, when X number of agents will not be able to cover all of our 3.1 million mile border, wall or no wall.

Trump likes to mention the (illegal under international law) Israeli border wall, forgetting this little matter of scale, along with the use of deadly force by both sides at that wall. Cadet Bone Spurs is not going to be in the line of fire, God forbid, but do we really want to recreate one of the worst features of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in our own back yard: a hot and dirty little war? Mexico is not just going to stand by and watch groups of Mexicans be killed at the wall, as would be sure to happen if Trump gets what he wants.

The Democrat bozos played right into Trump's hand.

Schumer looking like a New York moron, Pelosi screaming "let's do this in secret, not in public".

Trump is taking the long view. He's making progress with the Chinese. He's shoving the Democrats into the position of supporting illegals over legals. Hopefully he will find a new attorney general who is carrying some groceries in his sack. Heather will be fine at the useless UN.

His biggest problem is that the traitorous Rest-of-the-Republicans won't get their sh!t together, and pass the appropriations he wishes while they are still in control. Once sagging-faced Nancy is running the House, the rancour will rise by an order of magnitude. And the electorate will blame the Dems. And Chuks will have 6 years to moan, rather than 2.

I just checked with him and ...

Chuks is relatively happy.

Were we watching the same clip, OB? In the one I saw, Trump had a bit, fat sh*tfit, coming up with his favorite talking points to little effect, finally telling Schumer that he would be quite happy to have this shut-down blamed on himself. Smooth move, Donald!

When Schumer told the press that Trump being reduced to bragging about having won North Dakota and Indiana shows that he is in real trouble, all Trump could come back with was muttering half to himself that he did win those two states. There he just showed us how far over his head Schumer's dig had flown.

"Sagging-faced Nancy," OB, really? I suggest that you take a closer look at the Donald if you dislike politicians with sagging skin. Nancy is six years older than Donald, plus she abjures smearing her phiz with bright orange skin toner or marmelade or whatever that stuff is that Donald seems to think confers upon himself an aura of dewy-fresh, tight-skinned youth. Then there is the hair, the hair .... I think you had better lay off La Pelosi when it comes to looks, OB; your boy is no oil painting! https://www.google.com/search?q=imag...PT0viryYgLpuM:

Things that sag ....

Colbert loosely quoting Pelosi: "The wall's a metaphor for his manhood." Closely followed by "No wonder he's having trouble erecting it."

Once Trump finds out what "metaphor" means is he going to be angry, or what?

I see that the Donald is saying he will intervene to have Meng Wangzhou case dismissed. I must have missed the day that separation of powers was repealed.

The Canadians are dealing with an extradition request, at the behest of a US Judge.

Why would I do that?
Self inflicted pain is for masochists.
That 9/11 threads that entertain conspiracy theories are even open on PPRuNe offends me.
There is no excuse for Professional Pilots to tolerate that kind of noise on a forum for pilots.
Leave that horse crap to the rest of the internet.

I know. He had the habit of changing username midstream on the AF447 threads, that is when he wasn't busy jumping down rabbit holes and pulling alternative facts out of his arse.

Chuks, you may not like Trump’s orange face, but at least he can keep his dentures in place, unlike Nan at the last SOTU. Maybe that’s why she couldn’t keep up with the ongoing man-fight.

Trumps personal lawyer and ‘fix-it’ man, after being sentenced to 3 years imprisonment.

“"I take full responsibility for each act that I pled guilty to: the personal ones to me, and those involving the President of the United States of America."

So many witches

Funny you should mention that ....

OB, I guess you missed Trump's speech that ended with " ... and God bless the United Shaysh." Here you go:

Then there's the way Trump sometimes needs two hands to have a drink of water:

Trump loves to brag about his superior intelligence, along with unloading on others (often people of color) for being really stoopid. I think Rex Tillerson ("dumb as a rock" according to Trump) needs to cast dignity aside for a moment and challenge him to a comparison of IQ scores. This should be one piece of low-hanging fruit, trying to show that you are more intelligent than a guy who can not spell "tap." You are not going to need to flash a Mensa card for this one.

One obvious source of frustration is the way that people do not ask Trump the obvious questions, such as "Why the fuss about funding for your wall? You already told us, repeatedly, that "°Mexico will pay!" So why are you pestering the Democrats for funding? Mexico will pay, Donald, so go get the money from Mexico.

Well, Chuks, we already had the Mensa-Man for President. He kept telling us that, too. Didn't work out too well, though, and now most of his legacy is limited to the murder capital of America.

Clearly, Rexie never really got into the job as SOS. That was clear from the cold reception he got at Foggy Bottom. Pompey is doing a better job assisting Cesar, though.

But not to worry from your side. There's still Nanny to help you push Trump into the firepit. I was at the Phoenix Zoo today, trying out a new camera lens. Found myself focusing up the backside of a baboon, and immediately thought "I've seen that wrinkly countenance before, and had a flashback to Nanny's goat-like appearance the day before.

In all honesty, though, I'm prepared to put aside my brilliant repartee, and acknowledge that it is indeed a sad sight to see the leadership of the nation entrusted to the likes of Pelosi, Trump, and Schumer. Bernie and the Beast waiting in the wings. The Geriatric States of America. Where the hell are the younger ones? (Not that occluded-cortex one, though, please!)

I don't think that you can find one reference to membership in Mensa by Barack Obama.

In fact, check out Obama trying to speak off the cuff, no teleprompter. He's smart and he's smooth, but when you take away the props he's a bit shaky. He only comes off as a genius compared to Trump, but I have seen German shepherd dogs that come off that way too.

People tend to forget the role of the speechwriter in whatever the President says. Anyone who chooses to go off-script can sound kind of stupid, and when you get a guy who really is kind of stupid doing that then you get "stupidity squared": Trump! Of course he "love[s] the poorly educated." They are the ones who are ready to take his naked stupidity for authenticity. Somehow a lie told in Trump's garbled English sounds honest to them, because it's the way they also speak ... and try to think. The Arkansas Lard Biscuit as Trump's official Press Secretary? That cornpone accent oozes authenticity, to a Yahoo, even though she's been caught out telling a whole lot of lies, including some real whoppers.
