Hempy,

Give the Trump hating a rest for a while, it really is getting old.
Find a subject we can all have a human discussion around, not just spouting party lines.

Just look at the faces of the Fox team when he called up and ranted incoherently for 30 minutes last week

I see Mr T is at it again with the "terminological inexactitudes". He is again criticising Obama for selling the London embassy and building a new, hugely expensive one on a new site.
He doesn't appear to recognise the decision to sell and relocate was down to a bloke named Bush. And they didn't own the site anyway, they held a 999 year lease.

It really does lay bare the inside the beltway crowd, those that think their opinions and viewpoints actually matter.

Every person in that room, of whatever side they are on, will lie, cheat and steal to get ahead of the rest.

Michelle Wolf wasnít funny. It was sort of a new low. I donít care much roasting humor, itís too easy. Itís like a combination of name calling and bullying, both resorts of the not so clever minded,

The speech achieved what it set out to do - publicity for Michelle Wolf. Lets be honest most people wouldn't have a had a clue who she was before Saturday night and now the media storm is great publicity for her new TV series that quite coincidentally starts in 3 weeks.

The White House Correspondentsí Association were well played..

Michelle Wolff did exactly what she usually does: cringy, borderline, sometimes over the top humor; I didn't it was bad at all, especially since some of the more cruel zingers were not directed at Trump but at the media and celebrities. Without trying too hard, I had already had several tastes of her style by watching episodes of the Daily Show, and the organizers surely knew who they were hiring.

As for Trump or his entourage complaining, they have nothing to stand on: for once a comedian descends to The Donald's level of diatribe, they should be flattered.

Actually, Michelle Wolf's screechy voice was enough to send me off to the suicide room before she even got to the nasties.

Why in the world do women develop these annoying voice patterns, then expect to be taken seriously?

Then you wouldn't have liked the other name calling and bullying roast that went on in Washington, Michigan at the same time.

Well when even CNN think that Wolf went too far you know it must be bad.

In past years there was gentle ribbing of the incumbent President but now if the gloves are off and women in the Administration (who are not even politicians) are fair game to be attacked for how they look I do wonder how many are going to bother to turn up for the evening in years to come - the main losers are going to be the charities supported by the event, but the likes of Wolf wont care as she will be off milking her TV series.

Interesting how a comedian is held to a higher standard than the President of the United States of America. I don’t know who that says more about, Trump or his apologists.

And for all the RWNJ snowflakes with their panties in a twist claiming Wolf was mean and nasty and cruel and crude and a bully.....seriously? Aren’t you the ones constantly moaning about the evils of Political Correctness? Or is it just that you are fine with mean, nasty, cruel, crude bullying as long as it’s directed at liberals? All Michelle Wolf did was give Conservatives a nice healthy dose of their own medicine, and they didn’t like the taste of it. At all.

Cry me a river...

I do recall Hempy getting quite miffed and defensive a few years past when I opined in an Aussie thread, so I guess he doesnít take any of his own advice. He also went off the deep on a thread about tattoos of all things.

so, whatís wrong with ďhow that turned outĒ? On Jan 20th 2017, the economy was supposed to collapse, the markets dive, nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula break out. So far, economy is humming, markets up by one-third, and peace talks seriously underway in Korea. Oh, and when Kanye West speaks out in favor of Trump, the Democrats say, ďblacks get back on the plantation, West is an Uncle Tom.Ē

Hempy I really don’t give a shite what some second rate comedian has to say about the political situation.

However, the current issue arose because the lefties and their media enablers were mad that Trump passed up the opportunity to sit there shd and listen while they insulted him.

As you say, “cry me a river”.
