Sasless,

My opions, like most people, cover the social and politicol spectrum depending on the subject.

Simplistic labels like leftie are wildly inncaurate and vague but more importantly lazy.

But i guess it makes it easier for you to dismiss alternative opions, which must be nice?

Oicur,

It's "opinions", sir. And a paragraph usually contains more than one sentence, especially when your three sentences could be one paragraph. It's "inaccurate", by the way. Some commas would help unneeded paragraph three.

National Review, the original conservative periodical, is hardly a front for anybody except the ghost of WFB Jr.

Just sayin'

GF

Thanks, the ipad has never been my friend when typing with fat fingers.

But you got straight to the important thrust of my post, spelling and grammar.

Bravo.

Hillary Clinton waves as the crowd takes selfies during a campaign stop in Orlando.

My Heart breaks!

Political Correctness.....there is no way to defend anyone who is stupid enough to fall for this crap!

A frigging Warning Sign that someone might just say something that could possibly offend your sweet ass? Really?

How are these people going to be able to even recognize Evil when they see it much less find the courage to defeat it when it comes to them?

You wonder why I question whether American style "Liberalism" is a Mental Disorder?

They need to be told "Suck it up....Butter Cup! Welcome to Realville, USA!".

Yup, I've long held the belief that extreme liberalism is a form of mental illness.

As is the current state of conservative affairs where the acceptance of cognitive dissonance seems to be the rule rather than the exception.

Sasless and ORAC quote Observer.com, a right wing nut job website run by a friend and speechwriter of Trumps.

ORAC quotes Nationalreview.com, a right wing nut job website front for the AEI.

Sasless quotes Americanthinker.com, a right wing nut job website front for AIPAC.

With so many people getting thier news from agenda driven outlets devoid of facts, it is no wonder that Trump is in the running.
Tis a sad sign of these dysfunctional times and relates to my cognitive dissonance statement, Oicur12.again.

Meanwhile, who's ready for the debate?

I hate them both equally, for very different reasons, but halfway through the first segment he seems very nervous, listen to him heaving for air between speeches. She's winning so far.

Cheeto Hitler has told some whoppers so far - just 30 minutes in. And anarchy - yes, he is unable to control his mouth and stay on subject. The guy is so disingenuous and unrealistic, it is stunning to see.

60 out of the 90 minutes in, it's playing out as I expected. Nobody saying anything new, just a few bilateral snarking.

Agreed. Like the campaigns have been so far, this debate is fairly disappointing.

Lie count:

Trump 11
Clinton 0

Trump is missing too many openings where he could have really rang her Bell!

Lie Count:
Trumpet - 16
Clinton - 0

My nephew noticed something this evening. Trump looked angry and disturbed nearly the entire time. And we watched when the families came out - the Clintons were smiling and greeting audience members and friends while Trump's family stood around, keeping to themselves looking dour and unhappy. It is an interesting contrast and perhaps telling of the general tone of the two parties.

Strictly on debate merits, I'd give this one to Hillary. She managed to keep her cool, though she got a bit shreiky in the middle. He got a bit off track, and as SAS says, missed the opportunities she gave him to get at her.

Despite the moderator and the audience pushing her across, I don't think anyone's mind was changed by this event.
